As of tomorrow, I am officially full term! Yippee! Ok, baby, come on out.
We took a baby information class yesterday, mostly about the birth experience. I learned several things, let me share some of them with you:
1. I want my epidural, plain and simple
2. Labor is scary
3. You cannot count on anything, everybody has a different experience
4. I want my epidural, did I say that before?
I have the upmost respect for women who have their baby with nothing, you are a badass. I, however, am not. So I want drugs and I want them now. I hope I can do this. I am trying not to be afraid, although it's hard. I am just trying to focus on the end result.
I'm almost done with my knit baby blanket, so as soon as I am I will share.
Woohoo! Oh yes, definitely epidural. If I have another baby, I will get the
epidural MUCH sooner. Labor wasn't scary for me, just painful (until I got
the epidural). But everyone is different, for sure, and I wish you the best
combination of speed and painlessness you can get! And get as much sleep as
you can now - relax. You'll need it. :)
